1st Anniversary Open Day
Come and celebrate Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre's 1st Anniversary with us on Saturday 21 January and try out a range of FREE activities between 10.30am - 5pm*.
So whether you fancy trying a fitness class for the first time, taking a ride in our immersive Les Mills studio, want to bring the family to our Planet Play (soft play suite), try a game of badminton/ table-tennis or simply have a swim, then call up NOW on 01384 812800 (option 1) to reserve your space. Alternatively, call into the centre.

Just want to take a tour of the facilities and see what’s on offer? Then simply turn up on the day and a member of our friendly team will show you around.

Please note, children aged 16 and under must be accompanied at all times in the centre by a responsible adult aged 18 years or over for these sessions.

Fitness Classes
Our classes are social, fun and offer a really good workout which can improve your health and fitness. Our fantastic instructors will guide you through every step of the way.

You must be at least 12 years of age to take part in Les Mills BODYCOMBAT and Zumba and a parental /carer consent form must be completed prior to taking part in the class.
​
You must be 16 years and above to participate in Les Mills GRIT and Les Mills THE TRIP - immersive spin.

11.00am - 12.00pm Les Mills BODYCOMBAT - new release (suitable for 12+ years)

Planet Play
Our adventure play area is the latest and most exciting indoor soft play centre to arrive in Dudley town centre!
​
Planet Play is for our younger centre users and is an exciting adventure play area comprising of three sections. It can accommodate young toddlers and children under the age of 11 years, with a maximum height of 148cm.
​
Filled with state-of-the-art equipment, which is both stimulating and safe, it boasts slides, crawl tubes, rope bridges, balance beams, cargo nets, and a large wavy slide.
Children must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult aged at least 18 years of age.

Timetable
Come and try our free session between 1pm - 5pm and receive a 10% discount voucher when you book a Planet Play party* with us.
*Party must take place within 12 months and the voucher must presented at the time of booking.

Badminton and Table-Tennis
Fancy trying a new sport or just having a bit of fun? Then why not book a 30-minute badminton or
table-tennis session with us! All you need is a friend/s and we’ll provide the equipment*.
*Please note, a refundable deposit may be required for the hire of the equipment.

Timetable

Three badminton courts and one table-tennis table are available every half hour as follows:
3.00pm - 3.30pm
3.30pm - 4.00pm
4.00pm - 4.30pm
4.30pm - 5.00pm

Our sports hall can also accommodate other activities, including five-a-side football, netball, short mat bowls and private events. The sports hall can be hired for casual or club bookings for any age group throughout the week.
​

Swimming
The centre boasts two pools - a 25 metre, eight-lane swimming pool and teaching pool with spectator provision. It also has a large changing village (unisex) with Changing Places provision (a height adjustable changing bench, a peninsular toilet and a ceiling hoist) and user-controlled pool pod for disabled access into the pool.

Lockers are available in various sizes which are £1 coin returnable.

Swimming rules

Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied at all times into the centre by a responsible adult aged 18 years and above. The accompanying adult does NOT need to swim unless the child is under 8 years of age.

One adult can accompany up to two children under the age of 8 into the pool.
The centre offers various swimming sessions throughout the week, including public, adult lane swimming, family swimming, parent and toddler and disability swimming sessions.
